Slovenia- Spring Tour 2009 II ·
Today I finished up the tour going 1-1 on the day. I won my first match in three periods against Austria. My second match was a loss to Lithuania 1-0, 1-0. He then lost in the semifinals putting me out of the tournament. It’s a hard pill to swallow. I know that I am not where I need to be to succeed at this new weight class. I am going have to work hard to get to that point. I have had a nice tour as far as a learning experience goes. Besides the losses everything has gone smooth. We head out early in the morning getting back into the states late Sunday night.
As you can tell by my recent trips and tournaments I am improving on keeping you guys updated. I plan to continue this and even have ideas to update the website with more features. I also am glad that many of you have noticed the comment section below each blog. It is encouraging and motivating to hear your thoughts, comments and quotes. My next competition will be Senior Nationals over Easter weekend. Thanks for all your support. That’s all I have for now. I’ll keep you posted and keep praying for my success.
