Hungary- Spring Tour 2009 III ·
Coming into this tournament I knew this would be the toughest one of the year. I had 25 guys in my bracket from all over the world. Today did not go as planned, losing my first match to Karel Hanak of the Czech Republic. He did not advance to the finals putting me out of contention for third place. Doing a lot of travel, work and preparation to wrestle one match puts a very bitter taste in my mouth. This tournament continues to be a humbling experience. I understand I need to work on more than a few things if I want to be successful at this level. I still have a week left of this tour. Tomorrow I will travel to Slovenia where we will stay until Sunday. We will be wrestling in a tournament in Slovenia on Saturday. I am anxious to rid myself of this bad taste. That’s all for now, I’ll keep you posted and keep praying for my success.
Kerry,
I’m not sure what God’s lesson was for you but, I’m sure you’ll work on learning what it is. Keep on working hard and chalk this up a good learning experience plus, such a blessing. You had a trip few of us ever get to take. Stay safe and know you are in our prayers.
