Olympic Ambassador Program ·
The program was a very interesting experience as I got to listen, internact, and learn from past and future Olypians about the Olympic experience. The main focuse of the program was to educate us about the history and importance of the Olympics along with information about the Chinese culture. Former Greco-Roman Olympic Champion, Rulon Gardner, and former Olympians Tara Cunningham (Weightlifting), Courtney Johnson (Water Polo), Jimmy Pedro (Judo), Vonetta Flowers (Bobsled), John Naber (Swimming), Andrew Valmon (Track), Derek Parra (Speedskating), and Peter Vidmar (Gymnastics) were all speakers during my time in Washington. Needless to say, it was an honor and great experience to spend time with and learn from these athletes.
